The Sway Wall Vase exists somewhere between ceramic object, wall piece and vessel. Mounted directly onto the wall, it becomes part of the surrounding space while changing continuously through the flowers, branches or natural elements placed within it.
Its elongated form is defined by visible pinched seams and covered in a translucent amber-brown glaze that shifts between warm earthy tones and deep glossy layers. The movement of the glaze emphasizes the verticality of the object and highlights traces of the handmade process.
Attached simply with two nails through the back, the vase hangs almost like a small sculptural intervention on the wall. Fired at high temperatures, the ceramic body is fully watertight and suitable for fresh flowers.
Through the changing arrangements placed inside, the object continuously transforms — somewhere between functional vessel, sculpture and living composition.
