Blueberry is a ceramic side table with a strong sculptural presence. Covered in a translucent glaze, the surface shifts between warm natural clay tones and deep burgundy hues. Where the glaze is applied thinly, the beige stoneware remains visible; where it gathers in thicker layers, rich burgundy tones emerge, creating depth, movement and subtle variation across the piece.
Despite the material's perceived fragility, the object is remarkably robust. Weighing approximately 15 kg and fired at high temperatures, Blueberry can be used both as a side table and as a stool.
The flowing glaze accentuates the rounded form, creating a dynamic interplay between transparency, colour and texture. Each piece is handmade and individually glazed in Berlin, resulting in a unique surface that cannot be replicated exactly.
