Inspired by the softness of folded fabric, the Napkin Pendant Lamp transforms stoneware into a form that appears unexpectedly light and delicate. Finished with a deep, glossy red glaze, the surface accentuates every fold, curve and reflection, giving the piece a vivid and almost liquid appearance. The rich glaze reveals subtle variations in tone and depth, while the black clay body remains visible along the edges, creating a striking contrast.
A defining feature of the lamp is its visible pinched seam. While ceramic joints are traditionally concealed and refined to create a flawless surface, the connection remains intentionally exposed.
Suspended by a slender steel cable, the lamp can be installed with the electrical cable either fixed to the ceiling or left hanging freely. A small G9 LED bulb concealed within the ceramic shade emits a warm, atmospheric glow.
Each lamp is individually handmade in Berlin, resulting in subtle variations that make every piece unique.
