The Napkin Pendant Lamp challenges conventional perceptions of ceramic material. Its folded form resembles a suspended piece of fabric, creating a surprising sense of softness despite being crafted from stoneware.
A distinctive feature of the lamp is the visible pinched seam. While ceramic joints are traditionally concealed and refined to create a flawless surface, the connection remains intentionally exposed.
The lamp is suspended by a steel cable, while the electrical cable can either hang freely or be fixed to the ceiling for a cleaner appearance. A small G9 LED bulb is concealed within the ceramic shade, providing a warm and atmospheric light.
Each piece is handmade and therefore unique, with subtle variations in form and surface.
