Vertical Tension presents a new body of ceramic works exploring fragility, suspension, and verticality. For the first time, hap ceramics introduces hanging lamps, an unusually slender floor light, and a stacked stool tower—forms that challenge the expected structural limits of ceramic. By pushing the material toward height, thinness, and suspension, the installation creates a dialogue between stability and vulnerability. The covered window and reduced staging intensify this tension, inviting viewers to reconsider ceramic as a medium capable of both monumentality and precarious lightness.
